When the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 (GA503Q) came out, we didn't know the name for a while. We don't recognize it as a sibling to the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, the best laptop we've reviewed. This machine needs a lot of work to be successful as the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14.
It also offers long battery life, crisp feel, 15.6-inch 1440p display and powerful speakers in a slimmer Moonlight White form factor.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 (GA503Q) design.
After the 15-inch Zephyrus, we now have a selection of goofy-looking gaming laptops. Like its class, we were completely blown away by this design. Asus brings some flair, but it doesn't have to be.
You get the equally stylish Moonlight White on a magnesium alloy cover with tactile micro dots for mini LED lighting.
Our model doesn't have the Asus AniMe matrix screen, but instead of being decorated with the usual dark dots like before, Asus filled each dot with a prism sheet, giving it a lovely envelope of rainbow light. Team it with the metallic Republic of Gamers Founder's Badge in the lower left corner and the machine looks sleeker than ever. We noticed that Asus removed the Zephyrus logo from the hinge and replaced it with a much more convenient indicator light.
There are now elegant shiny silver accents where the lid is closest to the hinge. People can't tell you how pleased we are to see the interior has changed from the silver gray silver pattern to the same bright moonlit white on the lid.
Not only does it look good, but it also feels good when painted white with soft paint.
Like its siblings, there are five separate buttons above the keyboard, including volume down, volume up, mute, the ROG button (which brings up the Armory Crate app) and the power button.
At 4.2 pounds and 14.0 x 9.6 x 0.8 inches, the Zephyrus G15 gains weight for its screen size, but is still a very thin 15-inch laptop.
Alienware m17 R4 (6.6 lbs, 15.7 x 11.6 x 0.7-0.9 inches), MSI GS66 Stealth (2021) (4.6 lbs, 14.2 x 9.7 x 0.7 inches) and the Asus ROG Flow X13 (2.8 lbs.) has a 7-inch display. Since they are different, it is difficult to compare their size and weight.
