| Profile Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i |
One of the products presented by Lenovo is the Yoga Duet 7i, whose attractive design reminds us of the Microsoft Surface Pro.
The Yoga Duet 7i may not be the first 2-in-1 laptop with a flagship tablet that Lenovo has ever released. Nonetheless, this device is the latest that Lenovo has introduced with pen support.
Design
The Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i sports a compact design in the form of a tablet, which comes with an integrated metal kickstand that opens wide and maintains the feel that this 2-in-1 notebook is tall. - Terminals. Plus, the Yoga Duet 7i's body is thin and light, even with the keyboard attached to protect it. As information, this device weighs 800 grams without the keyboard and 1.19 kg with the keyboard.
This device also has a 13-inch wide screen and is still able to display relatively small dimensions thanks to the narrow bezel size. The resolution of this screen is 2160 x 1350 pixels, which makes it possible to display text clearly.
On the back of the device body you will find the camera along with the kickstand, while on top of the tablet there is the device's air vent. You'll also find two USB-C ports on the left side of the tablet and one on the right side next to the power button.
But that USB-C on the left only doubles as a charging port. In addition, Lenovo has equipped the Yoga Duet 7i with a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the left side.
Below is the connection between the tablet-like display and the keyboard cover that came with this device. Meanwhile, the material used on the back of the keyboard cover supports the elegant impression of the Yoga Duet 7i. The keyboard is also of regular size and has a few function keys and a touchpad, just like a normal laptop.
Even so, this touchpad is still able to offer good comfort and precision, especially when used to crop photos in editing applications.
Properties
With the Yoga Duet 7i, Lenovo introduced two USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 ports that let you connect your device to an external display. Unfortunately, Lenovo doesn't ship the Yoga Duet 7i with a USB Type-C port, so you'll need an external port to connect this 2-in-1 laptop to other supported devices.
However, thanks to advances in technology that have enabled wireless connectivity for many devices, you may not have to worry about the lack of USB-A ports because the Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i is compatible with Intel WiFi 6.
The Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i also comes with some smart features, such as Alexa voice service and facial recognition login with an infrared camera and Windows Hello, which makes unlocking the screen quick and easy even in low light.
When the screen is off, you often don't need to press the power button to unlock it. Just sit in front of the device and the sensor will automatically recognize your face and unlock the screen.
In addition, this 2-in-1 laptop keyboard touchpad also supports multiple Windows 10 touch gestures. This keyboard cover also supports Bluetooth 5.0. As we mentioned in the design section, the Lenovo Yoga Duet 7i comes with a rear camera, although it's not the only one.
This camera also comes with a front camera or above the screen which both have a resolution of 5 megapixels. The image quality presented by these two cameras in the photos is certainly not as good as the images produced by smartphone cameras.
Lenovo also completes the Yoga Duet 7i with Dolby Audio technology. Like other recent Lenovo computing devices, the Yoga Duet 7i comes with the Lenovo Vantage Service Center.
Unfortunately, Lenovo does not provide a special space on the Yoga Duet 7i body to store the Lenovo E-Pen. This raises the possibility that pens are easily forgotten and lost while traveling.
There are also two buttons on the body of the stylus that you can use to set shortcut settings or shortcuts that open when the button is pressed through the settings menu. This Lenovo E-Pen is fully supported by several Windows 10 services, the default operating system of this 2-in-1 notebook.
