Young professionals definitely need a laptop that can be used with a good view in front of clients. The Dynabook Satellite Pro L40-G meets these requirements.
The Dynabook is no stranger to Japanese laptop fans. Since Sharp acquired Toshiba, Dynabook has continued to release many new laptop models, including the Dynabook Satellite Pro L40-G.
Design
The Dynabook Satellite Pro L40-G features a sleek and stylish aluminum silver design. It weighs only 1.49 kg, competing with notebooks in its class. The second version is gray.
The dimensions are 322.8 x 221.9 x 18.9 mm. The length and width are spotty and quite thin, though not the thinnest. Opening the laptop reveals a 14-inch HD anti-glare display that looks anti-glare due to its thin bezel. The largest screen can be opened up to 135 degrees, not lowered to 180 degrees.
Above the screen is a built-in HD webcam with protective shutter and 2 microphones. The keyboard is comfortable to use with the right key pressure, so that the fingers grip quickly when typing. There are cooling holes at the bottom to keep the laptop cool.
Performance
The Dynabook Satellite Pro L40-G has three versions of the processor, Intel Core i3, i5 and i7. The device tested by DetikINET has an Intel Core i5 processor with 4 cores with a speed of up to 2.1 GHz. As the graphics use Intel UHD Graphic 620 and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 2GB GDDR5. Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
This laptop runs on Windows 10 OS, 4GB / 8GB RAM. HDD space is 1TB and SSD space is 256GB and 512GB respectively. To demonstrate its performance, detikINET tested the Dynabook Satellite Pro L40-G with Cinebench. This application is able to facilitate testing for each core of a laptop processor, including testing the graphics capabilities handled by the processor, both single-core and multi-core.
Battery
This laptop is easy to take to work anywhere, and the battery lasts long enough for normal use. detikINET tried the Better Battery option in the battery settings and it can take up to 10 hours to charge the laptop. Sharp himself said that the battery in the Dynabook Satellite Pro L40-G lasts 12 hours.
Connection
The Dynabook Satellite Pro L40-G supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth and offers multiple connections for a variety of work situations. There are many ports on the left and right side of the laptop.
On the right there is a slot for a micro SD card reader and a USB 3.0 port and a security lock on the right side. There are more gates on the left. There is power for laptops, LAN, HDMI, USB 3.0, USB Type-C for data transfer, charger or display port, and headphones/microphones.
Differentiator
The Dynabook Satellite Pro L40-G seems ready to handle some dangerous situations at work. A common problem for office workers is laptops being pushed away from the desk, spilled drinks and other items being pushed onto the desk.
Akraj guarantees there will be no more problems. This laptop has been certified by TÜV Rheinland to pass the 76 cm drop test, the office height standard. The laptop fell on four sides. The result can still light up, the LCD screen is not cracked or cracked.
